Donation Yoga for Hurricane Florence

Marissa Walch will be accepting donations for this class as she has strong ties to this community and will be donating the money to small business and animal shelters in need of the money once everyone is able to access the damage. This is where Marissa went to college at UNCW and also completed her first yoga training at the Wilmington Yoga Center. She sees Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach as her second home as she grew up on Lake Norman outside of Charlotte; but she developed professionally in Wilmington as a fitness professional, created her relationship, best friends and more so she wants to give back to a community that has given so much to her for so long. You can donate cash/check and/or Venmo @Marissa-Walch and ALL DONATIONS will go to the hurricane relief.

      We use Spa Creek as our outdoor yoga studio and practice on the only floating studio in Annapolis! Practicing yoga on the stand up paddleboards is a fun and relaxing way to be out on the water, not to mention a great workout that builds core strength and balance. Imagine the sun on your face, a gentle breeze blowing across your skin, as you lift yourself into upward facing dog, or floating weightlessly in savasana, fingers dipping into the cool water during your final relaxation. Our stand up paddleboard yoga program is open to all levels, whether you are new to paddling, or new to yoga. Basic paddle instruction will be taught at the start of each class.
