    Yoga at the Tiki Barge is back this summer! We have the best views for yoga outside and a bar for you to enjoy after class! Join local yoga instructor, Marissa Walch on specific weekdays for Yoga 7-8pm. 

    All levels of yoga are welcome as there will be many options and modifications. Class costs $25 and that includes TWO drinks at the bar after class. BYOM - Bring your own MAT to class and don't forget your ID for your drink tickets!

Stoking the fire in our belly, creating strong abs and a strong spine is vital to being healthy. Planks and all kinds of ab and spine strengthening moves will stimulate the prana in your navel center. Focus is on deep abdominal work along with upper and lower body strengthening and lengthening. This class is an excellent complement to your regular yoga practice.  This class is HEATED.

    Introducing a weekly fitness series on the waterfront! Starting on July 26th and running until August 30th, join us from 6:30 to 7:30 pm for Thursday Waterfront Wellness at South Point, Baltimore's newest seasonal waterfront venue. Ample, free parking also available onsite!

    Start off by participating in one of two fitness classes overlooking the waterfront: Total Body or Flow Yoga. After your class, reward yourself with a drink at the onsite bar. This event is open to the public and will be held at South Point at West Covington Park, across from City Garage.

    We use Spa Creek as our outdoor yoga studio and practice on the only floating studio in Annapolis! Practicing yoga on the stand up paddleboards is a fun and relaxing way to be out on the water, not to mention a great workout that builds core strength and balance. Imagine the sun on your face, a gentle breeze blowing across your skin, as you lift yourself into upward facing dog, or floating weightlessly in savasana, fingers dipping into the cool water during your final relaxation. Our stand up paddleboard yoga program is open to all levels, whether you are new to paddling, or new to yoga. Basic paddle instruction will be taught at the start of each class.

      We use Spa Creek as our outdoor yoga studio and practice on the only floating studio in Annapolis! Practicing yoga on the stand up paddleboards is a fun and relaxing way to be out on the water, not to mention a great workout that builds core strength and balance. Imagine the sun on your face, a gentle breeze blowing across your skin, as you lift yourself into upward facing dog, or floating weightlessly in savasana, fingers dipping into the cool water during your final relaxation. Our stand up paddleboard yoga program is open to all levels, whether you are new to paddling, or new to yoga. Basic paddle instruction will be taught at the start of each class.

      Learn how to detox your body, mind and spirit through asana, pranayama, self care and clean eating!

      We will focus on the benefits of detox yoga which include: stress reduction, weight loss, improved digestion, increased blood circulation, improved lymphatic function, improved glandular function, increased flexibility and a real sense of freedom within the body. The workshop will begin with a vigorous asana practice full of twists, sweat and breath work. We will then move through a full mind and body detox meditation. At the end of practice, as we move into the educational section, you will get to sample juice from Pure Raw Juice!

She is a certified personal trainer and group exercise instructor, also instructing Spin, TRX and Boot Camp classes when she isn't teaching yoga; and over the summer you can find Marissa on the water at Capital SUP Annapolis as their Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP) Fitness Director. She trained in North Carolina, in her hometown, for her 200 hour yoga teacher training in 2011 and completed Charm City Yoga's 500 hour training in 2014 to deepen her practice of yoga, create workshops and to fine tune her personal practice. She has worked in the fitness industry for over ten years and dedicates every minute of her day to share her love for keeping and creating a more healthy you! You will have fun, feel stronger and sweat with each practice.

      Hot Yoga Express**

      Is finding 90 minutes in your day for yoga a challenge? No worries - we offer Hot Yoga Express: A condensed, fast paced hot vinyasa practice with an upbeat vibe. Lengthen, strengthen, tone and breathe, getting the most out of your practice in just 60 minutes of mindful effort.

      Level 2, or 2 Diamond, classes are suitable for intermediate students. The basic postures are expanded to include more difficult variations and may be described with less detail. The class will flow at a faster pace and the asanas will be held longer. The classes introduce more advanced breathing techniques and concepts in yogic philosophy including the energetic body.

      Yoga & Mermaid Bowls

      Join Marissa Walch and Pure Raw Juice for a yoga class on top of Fed Hill Park from 6-7pm followed by tasty mermaid (or men) "bowls" created just for this class! The bowls will have an acai base with the rest of the bowl being revealed shortly! :)

      COST - $20 (includes YOGA & BOWLS) - you can VENMO (@Marissa-Walch) ahead of time to me with your full name and yoga & mermaids in the "subject" or please bring CASH the day of the event so we can pay Pure Raw Juice for making the bowls and delivery to our event. *** If the event is cancelled for whatever reason you will be refunded if you pay early, if you pay early and don't show up you will not be refunded because of needing to pay for the bowls made based on sign up numbers.

      SUP Yoga @ Capital SUP

      SUP Yoga is a vinyasa (flow) style yoga class where you will take your studio outside and onto a Stand-Up Paddleboard on the water.  The instructor will teach you how to paddle, how to safely get onto your board and then paddle to your floating yoga studio where you will be anchored in place and then guided through a practice with the beautiful sights of downtown Annapolis.  Some yoga experience is helpful, but the class is open to all levels of yoga with modifications offered for all postures.
