Yoga for Athletes is the perfect compliment for any sports enthusiast wanting to build strength, stamina and flexibility. Regular yoga practioners will benefit through deepening their knowledge of how yoga can work to support activities off of the mat. In this workshop Marissa will also teach you the skills to help alleviate the pain and tightness associated with physical activity. 



Marissa hopes to bring her personal experience and professional knowledge as a fitness enthusiast to her workshop so you can learn how to use yoga to continue being a healthy athlete your entire life. She is an AFAA certified personal trainer and group exercise instructor, as well as certified Mad Dogg Spinning and FloYo - Stand up Paddleboard Yoga Instructor. She trained in NC for her 200 hour yoga teacher training and completed Kim’s 500 hour training a year ago to deepen her practice of yoga and fine tune her skills for developing workshops to showcase her passion which is health and fitness. She has worked in the fitness industry for over six years and dedicates every minute of her day to share her love for keeping and creating a more healthy you!
