Join Marissa in Deep Creek, MD for a wonderful weekend away (May 17-19, 2024, Friday and Saturday night) with friends or come alone and make life long connections over the weekend. Retreats can be a beautiful escape from reality, but also an exciting way to connect, refill your tank and dive deeper into yourself. This weekend will be filled with creative and yummy yoga practices combined with sound baths, workshops, all levels of practice and more surprise adventures built into the weekend. All yoga practices will take place in the home or if weather permits outside on the beautiful decks surrounded by trees. During the weekend when we are not practicing yoga we have included some amazing activities that are optional as well as offering free time to adventure to the lake (shared dock access), hike, shop in the area, check out the local attractions and more. The home we are renting has a large covered porch offering filtered lake views and overlooking the large outdoor area, where there is a large fire pit area with room for everyone to play lots of outdoor games or just enjoy a cold drink at the outdoor bar area. We will keep the amazing food and drinks flowing all weekend as well in the home as we have our entire weekend catered by local restaurants, catering services, home cooking and in Deep Creek and Baltimore.

What’s included:

  • Quiet, clean and beautiful living amenities for the weekend, 2 nights and 3 days total  (Friday and Saturday night) single or shared spaces

  • 3-4 speciality yoga classes/experiences led by Marissa all 1.5-2 hours in length, all levels

  • All meals prepared by one of the guests serving food from Baltimore and local restaurants, as well as some brunch served by one of past live well retreat attendees, Emily Kean, MBA, RD, CDCES  (vegetarian options available) (2 happy hour meals, 2 dinners, 1 lunch, 2 breakfasts and dessert both nights - every meal is included unless you wish to eat out of the home) 

  • All alcohol wine, beer, mixed drinks, coffee and tea prepared by myself (non-alcoholic options available as well)

  • special wellness gift bag with handpicked items for your weekend to support local businesses and a wonderful memory for you to take home and continue your wellness journey

  • Activities in the area (hiking, going out on the lake, shopping, etc.) or provided by Marissa (some secrets so you have something to look forward to on the trip) 

  • Relaxing time for you to refresh and dive deeper into your mind, body and spirit with a solid group of people who are looking to connect and live well 

Amenities:

  • Queen Size beds (4 total, 2 people/bed)

  • Twin beds (4 total, 1 person/bed)

  • 2 sleeper sofas (2 total, 1 person/bed) - lower cost, shared room with 4 people

  • You can sign up with a friend/partner or I can pair you with a single buddy as well - please communicate this information to me ASAP 

  • 12-13 total spots open for retreat attendees, small group allows for more bonding and private space

Payment Options:

  • $750 per person - this is your TOTAL COST for the weekend including everything mentioned above, you will spend nothing else unless you choose to go out shopping, etc.

  • Credit card is available at 3% added to total costs due to fees 

Important Information to Know:

  • Must sign a COVID waiver

  • Must sign and fill out out a health history waiver for yoga classes

  • Must sign a retreat liability waiver 

  • 50% REFUNDS are available BEFORE January 1, 2024, which gives me four months to market the retreat to fill your spot

  • 25% REFUNDS are available BEFORE February 1, which gives me three months to market the retreat to fill your spot 

  • There are NO REFUNDS as of February 2, for the retreat, I am setting this up through my own business and have to make sure I am covered. If you get sick and can find someone to replace you I can work with you.

  • I have purchased insurance if I get COVID/sick and cannot lead the retreat to get my money back from Airb&B so I am covered for you guys.

Stand Up Paddle Board yoga will challenge your core and rejuvenate your spirit! Imagine the sun on your face, a gentle breeze blowing across your skin, as you lift yourself into upward facing dog, or float weightlessly in savasana, fingers dipping into the cool water during your final relaxation.

Classes are open to all levels, whether you are new to paddling, fitness, yoga or all of the above. Basic paddle instruction will be given at the start of each class.

Classes are 60 minutes long on water. Each event is about 90 minutes total to account for check-in, safety briefing, launching, class & return time!

Join Marissa for a SELF LOVE FLOW on Thursday February 15th at 6pm! Come check out Woodberry Kitchen's new event space called The Gathering which is a beautiful open space, high ceilings, exposed brick and magical space for all events - including YOGA!

This practice will start with a metta meditation (loving kindness meditation) and then move into a juicy heart opening flow to release tension in the front of the body, create space in your body for areas that are tight as well as offer an opportunity to really give back to your own body with a little bit of self love. Heart opening also incorporates backbends so you'll be offered some time in practice to explore your body's potential.

After class you are welcome to stick around and hang out as your ticket comes with one glass of wine and/or non-alcoholic option. Woodberry Kitchen is also host to The Tavern which is their new restaurant concept, book a reservation on RESY if you wanted to stay for a full dinner after class.

Join Marissa in Rehoboth Beach, DE for a wonderful weekend away (November 3-5, 2023, Friday and Saturday night) with friends or come alone and make life long connections over the weekend. Retreats can be a beautiful escape from reality, but also an exciting way to connect, refill your tank and dive deeper into yourself. This weekend will be filled with creative and yummy yoga practices combined with sound baths, workshops, all levels of practice and more surprise adventures built into the weekend. All yoga practices will take place in the home or if weather permits outside on the lawn or potentially at the beach. During the weekend when we are not practicing yoga we have included some amazing activities that are optional as well as offering free time to adventure to the beach, shop in the area, check out the local attractions and more. We will keep the amazing food and tasty drinks flowing all weekend as well in the home as we have our entire weekend catered by local restaurants in Rehoboth Beach and Baltimore.

What’s included:

  • Quiet, clean and beautiful living amenities for the weekend, 2 nights and 3 days total  (Friday and Saturday night) single or shared spaces

  • 4 speciality yoga classes/experiences led by Marissa all 1.5-2 hours in length, all levels

  • All meals prepared by one of the guests serving food from Baltimore and Rehoboth Beach restaurants, as well as some brunch served by one of our favorite chefs Pam Walker  (vegetarian options available) (2 happy hour meals, 2 dinners, 1 lunch, 2 breakfasts and dessert both nights - every meal is included unless you wish to eat out of the home) 

  • All alcohol wine, beer, mixed drinks, coffee and tea prepared by myself (non-alcoholic options available as well)

  • special goody bag with handpicked items for your weekend to support local businesses and a wonderful memory for you to take home and continue your wellness journey

  • Activities in the area (walking on the beach, shopping, etc.) or provided by Marissa (some secrets so you have something to look forward to on the trip) 

  • Relaxing time for you to refresh and dive deeper into your mind, body and spirit with a solid group of people who are looking to connect and live well

  • King size beds (3 total, 2 people/bed)

  • Queen size beds (2 total, 2 people/bed)

  • 2 single top bunk beds - 1 person/bed

  • 2 full bottom bunk beds - 1 person/bed

  • You can sign up with a friend/partner or I can pair you with a single buddy as well - please communicate this information to me ASAP 

  • 12 total spots open for retreat attendees, small group allows for more bonding and private space

  • 5.5 bathrooms

  • Huge living room space, outdoor deck, back yard and yoga space

  • 20 minute walk to the beach or short drive 

Payment Options:

  • Range from $699-$750 per person - this is your TOTAL COST for the weekend including everything mentioned above, you will spend nothing else unless you choose to go out shopping, etc.

  • Credit card is available at 3% added to total costs due to fees 

Important Information to Know:

  • Must sign a COVID waiver

  • Must sign and fill out out a health history waiver for yoga classes

  • Must sign a retreat liability waiver 

  • 50% REFUNDS are available BEFORE September 1, which gives me two months to market the retreat to fill your spot

  • 25% REFUNDS are available BEFORE October 1, which gives me a month to market the retreat to fill your spot 

  • There are NO REFUNDS as of October 2, for the retreat, I am setting this up through my own business and have to make sure I am covered. If you get sick and can find someone to replace you I can work with you.

  • I have purchased insurance if I get COVID/sick and cannot lead the retreat to get my money back from Airb&B so I am covered for you guys.

This 90-minute cruise aboard Raven will take you through the Baltimore Inner Harbor and out to the Key Bridge.
