Marissa Walch is a full-time, certified fitness, yoga, wellness and retreat professional based in the DMV area. She is a 500-hour registered yoga instructor, certified personal trainer and group exercise instructor who hopes to inspire everyone she meets to live well. Join Marissa at Coppermine Harbor East for a lunch time flow. Vinyasa Flow yoga emphasizes the sequential movement between postures, coordinated with and guided by deliberate breath. This class moves from pose to pose with each held for no more than five to eight breaths. Expect a fully balanced class of forward bending, twists, backbends with opportunity for inversions.
You can park on the street or in the Exeter Street Garage at 650 S. Exeter Street, Baltimore, MD 21202 for three hours for FREE. The gym is located on the 2nd floor when you use the elevator from the garage. You must register your license plate in the system when you arrive at the gym. If you park in a different location the front door is located next to the Harbor East Cinemas and Häagen-Dazs. There are locker rooms, showers, towels and mats available if you don’t have your own.

live well retreat - Rehoboth Beach, DE
SOLD OUT - Join Marissa in Rehoboth Beach, DE for a wonderful weekend away (February 6-8, 2026, Friday and Saturday night) with friends or come alone and make life long connections over the weekend. Retreats can be a beautiful escape from reality, but also an exciting way to connect, refill your tank and dive deeper into yourself. This weekend will be filled with creative and yummy yoga practices combined with sound baths, meditations, all levels of practice and more surprise adventures built into the weekend. All yoga practices will take place in the home or if weather permits outside.
During the weekend when we are not practicing yoga we have included some magical activities that are optional as well as offering free time to adventure to the beach, shop in the area, check out the local attractions and more.
The home we are renting has a beautiful deck, large back yard and lots of space to hang out together or with yourself. We will keep the amazing food and drinks flowing all weekend as well in the home as we have our entire weekend catered by local restaurants and some creative meals to enjoy together. We have designed a special mini live well retreat on Sunday, January 11th, yes 111. Join Marissa Walch at Whitehall Mill in Hampden for Yoga by the Falls + a SOUND BATH with Bri Alexander Wellness - a Sound & Energy Healing Practitioner who is on a mission to empower the community through sound meditation, energy work, and movement. She offers different forms of sound healing and is trained in various modalities including mindfulness meditation, Yin yoga, Reiki, and somatic movement. Class will run from from 6-7:15pm on Thursday in the Penguin Room which is a beautiful event space available for booking all kinds of events.
Tuesday November 18th - Your yoga practice will run from 6-6:45pm and then your Sound Bath will start and run from 6:45-7:15pm. Prop suggestions for your sound bath - warm layer, cushion/ blanket, and eyemask. All optional, of course, but they will enhance your experience.

live well Deep Creek Retreat
SOLD OUT - Join Marissa in Deep Creek, MD for a wonderful weekend away, Women only, Weekend in the Woods, (November 7-9, 2025, Friday and Saturday night) with friends or come alone and make life long connections over the weekend. Retreats can be a beautiful escape from reality, but also an exciting way to connect, refill your tank and dive deeper into yourself. This weekend will be filled with creative and yummy yoga practices combined with sound baths, workshops, all levels of practice and more surprise adventures built into the weekend. All yoga practices will take place in the home or if weather permits outside on the beautiful decks surrounded by trees. During the weekend when we are not practicing yoga we have included some amazing activities that are optional as well as offering free time to adventure to the lake (shared dock access), hike, shop in the area, check out the local attractions and more. The home we are renting has a large covered porch offering filtered lake views and overlooking the large outdoor area, where there is a large fire pit area with room for everyone to play lots of outdoor games or just enjoy a cold drink at the outdoor bar area. We will keep the amazing food and drinks flowing all weekend as well in the home as we have our entire weekend catered by local restaurants, catering services, home cooking and in Deep Creek and Baltimore.

There are NO REFUNDS as of September 1, 2025, for the retreat, I am setting this up through my own business and have to make sure I am covered. If you get sick and can find someone to replace you I can work with you.

live well NYC Day Trip Retreat

We are taking an early train from Baltimore to NYC followed by coffee shops, sight seeing walks, shopping and all the good food. For our wellness experience we will head to Bathhouse in the Flatiron District featuring saunas, steam rooms & thermal pools. Join Marissa on ZOOM for Vinyasa Yoga! Grab your mat - class is all levels and modified based on your current yoga practice. We're teaming up with Baltimore yoga instructor Marissa Walch for Yoga on a Yacht! Grab your mat and climb on board for a Sunday morning flow. This 90-minute cruise aboard Raven will take you through the Baltimore Inner Harbor and out to the Key Bridge. We'll have a 45-minute class followed by time to hang out, sip a coffee or mimosa, and take in the sights. Beverages will be available for purchase from our full-service bar. We cruise rain or shine as Raven has a beautiful, covered main deck perfect for yoga if the weather doesn't go our way.

Join Marissa at Restore Hyper Wellness in Canton for an all levels yoga flow on Sunday September 28th at 9am. Restore has all kinds of services which you can check out after the event at a special cost to you of $25 for Red Light Therapy or whole body Cryotherapy.
